Erik Rettig directs Small Business Majority's operations in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states. As Director, he leads Small Business Majority's policy work by ensuring the small business voice is represented in state capitols throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Eastern seaboard. Previously, Erik served as the organization's Northeastern Outreach Manager where he developed partnerships with small business owners and organizations throughout the Northeast.
Prior to joining the organization, Erik worked on Capitol Hill, political campaigns and advocated for small employers at the state level in Annapolis. He currently serves on a study panel at the National Academy of Social Sciences, where he advises panelists on research and business insights in order to make paid family leave work for the nation's entrepreneurs.
