We are seeking an additional $130,000 to be able to expand the scope and impact of the project in the following ways:
Support Community Innovation Teams to continue their work after the event - $40,000
Support 10 of the low-income women we interview to participate - $15,000
Support 10 students from HBCUs to participate - $15,000
Support 2-5 inspirational women of color to speak & participate - $10,000
Distribute cash awards to the top teams - $12,000
Support our leadership team to speak about the event in the year following - $10,000
Produce a printed book and mail it to all participants - $9,000
Produce a video documentary about the event - $8,000
Stage an art exhibition in the common areas of the event - $5,000
Rent family-friendly furniture for the “Baby Co-Op” area - $3,000
Distribute T-shirts to all participants - $3,000
